We learn through what we do. We develop and refine our perception through encounters with the new and unfamiliar. Reflection enables greater self-awareness as the regular and routine broaden to encompass a more expansive sense of our self and the world around us.


In my teaching and leadership I hope to foster inquiry and discussion—to hone knowledge through questions, to communicate more effectively, and to strengthen our communities of empathy and understanding.


I appreciate having a forum to share my own experiences and reflections, and welcome further opportunities to connect with individuals, schools, and organizations around the world.
